Support indigenous communities sharing their stories through their voices.
Espíritu is an indigenous-led oral history research film. Náhuatl villages like San Miguel Tecuiciapan and San Agustín Oapan document and share their truly spectacular culture surrounding Día de Muertos. Our research stems from a partnership with Mexi-HA to produce their creative nonfiction short entitled Recuperando Tradiciones. The themes from that story guide our research and are community-determined. Espíritu - Preludio is a promotional sample of our intended final product.
